Where to Begin

Updated: Mar 22, 2021

You didn't get much out of TAPS. They were saying things you had never heard before, let alone dreamed of. I'll try and fill in the blanks.

  1. The Veterans Administration website https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits/homepage is where you apply for your educational benefits, your disability, care providers, etc. Go to the site and create your login.

  2. Seriously look long and hard at your life. Do you have a 5, 10, 40, 65 year plan. Don't sweat that you are not sure right now, make up something. It is easy to change and adept to changes. It is alot easier to get to a destination if you have a map to guide you. Which brings me to your plan for 5 years. Get your education, Get your degree. That was probably why you joined in the first place.

  3. Ask yourself what you want in life? Work on the answer. The internet is a great source, but use good judgement. If it sounds too good, it probably is.

As always, if you have a question or just need to talk to some one. Send me an email, I'll set up a zoom session. srapada@pacific.edu
